So does look “honeycombed?” Not quite.
I hadn’t realized that my supply of droppers was almost completely depleted, so I ended up using Q-Tips to apply the fantasy paint instead. Those work relatively well for spreading the paint once it’s *already on canvas*, but less well in other situations.
This doesn’t mean that I can’t create a more patterned look by hand once the paint dries. The safe bet would probably be inking first, then painting lines around the letters and / or words once I actually know where they’re going.
This particular brand of fantasy paint takes a LONG time to dry–sometimes up to three DAYS–so it’s possible that I might not finish this until the weekend. We shall see!!!
Materials added: Fantasy paint, liquid acrylics.
