I’ve raved about acrylic ink and Pebeo’s line of fantasy paints for quite some time. A few weeks ago, I finally reached the point where almost all of the Pebeo bottles were empty. During a resupply order, I’d intended to replace ’em with a brand-new set…but then discovered Pebeo makes dye-based watercolor ink! I wasn’t even aware that existed!

I opened the set back in July and used it on “Undeterred by the Roots.” To my disappointment, I didn’t like the results (though I was later able to lighten the colors with acrylics). While deep and rich, the Pebeo ink is also dark…too dark for me, really.
Luckily for August’s poem, that description happens to fit what I’m looking for!
Materials used: Art paper, watercolor ink, iridescent paint.
