I debated all day: should I leave a lower half I wasn’t entirely happy with, or attempt to fix it knowing that I might accidentally wreck the sections I *did* like?
In the end, I decided to risk it…and I’m glad for that.
The lower body shows the most dramatic change (three different shades of Distress stain and some Stardust inking), but the entire piece is now much more colorful. On the sides (and particularly the left), I focused on areas where the blending paint seemed dull and lackluster. The color bursts and fill-ins were done with a combination of paint pels, gel ink, and brush markers.
